How to Apply
Application to the International Foundation Year is easy and straightforward.
If your application is successful, we can issue an offer within one working week once we have all your relevant documentation.
You do not have to apply through UCAS.
Application forms
You will need to complete an application form.
First decide which college you would like to attend for your International Foundation Year, then download the appropriate application form by clicking on the name of your chosen college below:

Additional documents
In addition to the application form, you will need to copy or scan the following documents to attach to your application.
- Evidence of your English language level, as shown by one of the tests approved by the UK Border Agency, such as IELTS, TOEFL or Pearsons PTE.
- School transcript showing your academic achievements. This must be in English, and must be signed, dated and stamped by the school. If it is a translation into English from the original, it must show the signature of the translator, the date, and the name and stamp of the translation organisation. It must also state that it is an accurate translation of the original document.
- High school graduation certificate, if you have finished high school. This must be in English. If it is a translation into English from the original, it must show the signature of the translator, the date, and the name and stamp of the translation organisation. It must also state that it is an accurate translation of the original document.
- The relevant pages of your passport: the cover, the information pages, and any relevant visas.
